After 20 years as founder and president of the successful software company, DonorPerfect, Robin Stark sold the business and thought she would spend her retirement traveling and golfing. However, as a longtime wine collector and enthusiast, it didn’t take long for her entrepreneurial bent to take hold, and she became involved in a variety of wine-oriented ventures. 
Starkland Cellar Services provides cellar management for wine collectors. Starkland Tours puts together wine-tasting bike trips in regions including Tuscany, Provence and Burgundy.
In addition, Ms. Stark conducts wine tastings throughout the Southern California area. As a computer educator for 20 years (and a writer with 10 published books), Ms. Stark has extensive public speaking experience, and is often praised for her enthusiastic and energetic style as well as knowing how much information is “just enough” for each particular audience. Ms Stark’s Freeway Guide to Wine Appreciation, is part of the popular Freeway Audio Guide series. This year Ms. Stark leads bike tours through the Veneto (Amarone country!) and Tuscany. It addition, she’ll be the celebrity sommelier on a bike tour of Sicily, put on by the high-end adventure travel company, Ciclismo Classico.
